Editors are the people responsible for entering documents into BCNROC. To edit and self-publish (deposit) documents you must contact SEDAC to receive the appropriate permits and training.

If you are part of a municipal department that produces documents for public dissemination, you must self-publish them on BCNROC so that everyone can see them, consult them and reuse them online.

If your documents must also be published on the municipal Transparència website or on other municipal channels, you must enter them into BCNROC. Once uploaded, they will also be visible on those other channels.

When producing documents, use standard, open-source formats that are automatically processable, in order to help facilitate continual access to the documents, as well as their reuse by interested third parties. Use the PDF format for text documents; MP4 for audiovisuals; JPEG for photographs, etc.

As a general rule, the deadline for depositing new documents on BCNROC is one month from the date those documents are finalised.
