Commerce takes to the streets

The arrival of spring invites us once again to enjoy the trade shows as well as street and recreational activities being held in several of the city's neighbourhoods and which are open to everyone.

June sees several of Barcelona's shopping hubs holding trade shows and free outdoor activities to boost and publicise neighbourhood commercial establishments.

Street trade shows and other commerce-related activities provide an opportunity for visitors to discover the breadth and diversity of local products and services and to treat themselves to a festive and recreational day that has seen a high level of commercial participation and an excellent response from the public for many years.   

These initiatives enable the local retail community to act as a cohesive force that enriches community life and boosts commercial activity in the city's neighbourhoods.
