The City Council offers grants and subsidies for many things, ranging from social actions to commerce and youth policies. By far the biggest block, however, nearly 80% of the total, is for district and city activities.
Grants awarded to carry out projects, activities and services in the spheres of local development, the promotion of jobs and the social and solidarity economy.
The grants are intended to provide the funding necessary for the city’s districts and neighbourhoods by empowering those developing socio-economic activities in the city with the aim of making it more sustainable over time and more resilient to economic fluctuations. That means bolstering projects with a social vocation or return which improve people’s quality of life and reduce socio-economic inequalities.
Applications for grants can be submitted from 25 April to 25 May 2018 inclusive.
