Hangar - Paratext n. 29
At Paratext, Hangar resident artists present in various formats their own projects or aspects of their residency work. These sessions are open to the public and promote their participation and interaction with the artists.
At the session taking place on Wednesday 26 September, projects will be presented by May Parlar, who works in the field of photography and video making performative images that explore concepts such as belonging, identity, perception and normative social influences; and Julia Varela, an artist interested in what we repress when we observe things, deploying materials that enable her to preserve the physical mise-en-scène from which to render and mediate emotions.
