H.Association for Contemporary Arts (H.AAC) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote and carry out activities aimed at fostering expressions of art and thought committed to contemporary ideas and aesthetics, as well as creation, research and studies in this field.

H.AAC collaborates with entities and associations to encourage and enable these areas of culture and thought to be incorporated in their activities.

Since its creation in 1991, it has carried out projects in a variety of areas. Together with other sponsoring entities, it has organized the Quinzena d’Art de Montesquiu (Montesquiu Art Fortnight, QUAM) and held exhibitions, talks and debates on aspects of contemporary art and thought. The association publishes the collection “Textos sobre les Arts Contemporànies” (Texts on Contemporary Arts), and Memòries d’H 1991-2021. Trenta anys d’Arts Contemporànies is its 50th publication.

Since 2009, the association’s activity has focused mainly on the management of ACVIC. Centre d’Arts Contemporànies, a result of the cooperation between H.AAC, Vic City Council and the Ministry of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
