A conversation between Benjamin Moser, author of the biography of Susan Sontag, and Valentín Roma, director of La Virreina Center de la Imatge and curator of the exhibition On Photography.
Benjamin Moser (Houston, 1976), a writer, publisher and translator, has been a columnist for Harper's Magazine and The New York Times Book Review, and has collaborated with media such as The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler and The New York Review of Books. He has translated books from French, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch. He is an expert on Clarice Lispector, whom he has edited and translated, and to whom he dedicated the book Why this world. A biography of Clarice Lispector, which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and obtained Brazil’s State Prize for Cultural Diplomacy for helping to disseminate the author internationally.
