The exhibition Panopticon_Frontier 601, featuring work by Nora Ancarola and currently on display in the Miserachs Room of La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, is part of a larger project entitled “Times of Lead and Silver”, some of which was shown at the Centre d’Art Maristany and which later travelled from Barcelona to the MUNTREF Centro de Arte Contemporáneo in Buenos Aires.

The book explores the theories that underpin Ancarola’s work and looks at the artistic solutions she has employed in this project that focuses on issues such as migration, control systems and the possibilities for changing these harsh realities.
