Get Inspired, React and Activate Yourself!

Inspiration, Reaction, Activation are the three areas on which the 2nd Meeting of Creativity and Trends at the Museu del Disseny (Design Museum) will be focused. Throughout the day, attendees will be given the tools to identify what are the current principal emerging trends.

After the welcome from Pilar Vélez, Director of the Museum, the main guidelines for the investigation and analysis of international trends will be revealed at the conference led by Vicent Grégoire, Creative Director of the Nelly Rodi Agency. He will talk about various key sectors such as design, gastronomy and interior design, among others.

Four different professional activities (audiovisuals, spaces, music and gastronomy) will be represented at the roundtable “Mirades creatives. Connexions i Hibridacions” (Creative Visions. Connections and Hybridisation). The discussion will be chaired by Francesca Tur, Director of Tendencias TV. Taking part will be Luis Cerveró, Director and founding partner of Estudio O, Inés Miró-Sans, co-founder of Casa Bonay, Daniel Córdoba-Mendiola, strategic director of The Hunter and David Carabén, lead singer of Mishima.

The afternoon session will open with ‘Insights: Revalorització d’allò Humà’ (Insights: Reevaluation of the Human), a dialogue between Marta Marín, Director of the Master’s course in Fashion Communication at Ramon Llull University, and Daniel Pérez, a consultant in strategic communication for lifestyle brands. In this session, they will speak about the greater human focus that products are being given in order to provide them with greater individuality, craftsmanship and emotion.

The day will finish with six workshops on diverse themes: fashion, metal, paper, publishing projects, wood and clay. All the workshops will take pieces in the Design Museum’s collection as their starting point for inspiration and to reflect on the past, present and future as a focus to stimulate creativity. And remember: you can use the hashtag #JornadaTendències to have your say on social networks.
