Nothing here, nothing there ... where is the chocolate dish?

What is it about chocolate that makes everyone like it? As we’re also mad about it, we’ve decided to run a workshop so that the youngest members of the household not only try, but also start to work with this food that we all value so highly.

In the "Magical tableware " workshop we will do just that, make magic! Take the dish ‘Ona’ (the wave), a creation by the designer Gemma Bernal that is included in the Museum’s collection and which we will transform into a masterpiece of chocolate. In addition, we will also decorate it with more chocolate and sweets.

Got a few questions? Let us anticipate your queries:

Can everyone do it?

The activity is recommended for children aged between 5 and 12 years old. The youngest children may have trouble following the instructions even if they are accompanied by an adult (an obligatory requirement for all).

Take note! The chocolate used is milk chocolate and may contain soya. In particular, be careful if you are allergic to or have an intolerance of soya.

What will I learn to do?

Lots of things! You will discover how to make a cornet and use it as a patisserie decorating bag to write and draw, learn how to temper and melt the chocolate, make molds of the dishes, decorate them with sweets and much more!

Do you have to be good with your hands to do it?

Not at all! It is very easy and with a little patience you will create a work of art. And if you’re not convinced ...just eat it!

But do let whoever has accompanied you try a bit too!
