Taking place this week will be a new edition of Creativity and Trends, making this the third such conference. It is an event that this year will be the standard bearer for the creative universe of crafts, and is given over to looking at the present and future of craft. We give you three reasons to sign up!
Visions of the future
WGSN is an authority on the future of trends, and its director, Kim Mannino, will open the conference to talk about the «Common Ground» trend and its impact on fashion design, furniture, packaging and graphic design. It will accompany the reflection on craft and new technologies by Jonathan Openshaw, a consultant specialising in consumer industries. An opportunity to find out about the future of design!
A networking opportunity
At the conference you will find other professionals from the sector such as designers, artists, artisans or digital creators. It is a great place to exchange experiences, projects and knowledge, particularly in the afternoon workshops, which offer a more intimate and tranquil space.
Choose your workshop
The dialectic between past, present and future will be the mechanism driving the afternoon workshops. The Museu del Disseny technicians have selected a number of pieces as a source of inspiration and creation for future design objects. Mitos Bermejo, Jesús Morentin, Pablo Salvaje, Bussoga, Makea tu vida and Pedra will be guiding us in this experience.
