Council of the Barcelona Innovation Coast
What is the BIC Council?
Created in December 2021 with the aim of promoting projects in sustainable mobility, technology, health and renewable energies, among others, the BIC Council is an advisory and consultation body made up of the city's main innovative agents :
- universities
- business schools
- research and knowledge transfer centers
- business associations, companies and clusters
- financing agents
- public administrations
- foundations and associations
What are their functions?
- Create an innovation transfer network to share contacts and initiatives
- Promote actions and projects that facilitate and promote innovation in the city
- Contribute resources to the BIC ecosystem to contribute to the creation and promotion of projects that boost the city in the areas of mobility, health, energy, technology and digitization
Innovation resources of Barcelona
BIC members make available to participating projects a set of resources that facilitate the preparation and execution of innovation projects, such as Mentoring (expert advice), Networking, physical spaces (rented, temporarily or permanently), systems or resources digital (such as databases, studies, etc.), material resources and/or funding.
