The festival pays homage to Santa Eulalia, the city’s main patron saint until the 17th century. Notable events and activities include the procession of the Laias, the Santa Eulalia retinue, the human-tower performance, the sardana gathering, and the fire runs in which fire beasts and devils of all sizes take part.
