A mixed-race La Mercè bearing an entire city entangled in her hair. From this colourful hairstyle emerge human tower builders, fire beasts, Miroesque sculptures, and even a sea with a ship rescuing displaced people. If she could speak, this Mercè would say, loudly and clearly: “You are all welcome in Barcelona.”
