Carnival has been traditionally understood as a transgression of everything established, of the usual order of things and as a change of roles. This year’s poster, which we can look at both right-side-up and up-side-down, plays with this duality and invites us to join in this not just neighbourhood but also Barcelona, Mediterranean and European celebration.
