Masks are the star attraction at this year’s Carnival.  Grotesque and extraordinary masks that remind us of communal “big-heads” and which their creator, the illustrator Julio Fuentes, has filled with light, volume and colour.  Masks that are actually more than that and all different, since each can be looked at from two sides: right and left, above and below... and which, like Carnival itself, turn everything upside down.
