The city takes to the streets to celebrate Santa Eulàlia, Barcelona’s annual winter festival. Giants, human towers, stick dancers, popular Catalan dance groups, sardana circles, devils and fire runs are back to bring popular culture and the festive spirit to the young. This year is particularly special because it marks 600 years of giants in Barcelona and 200 years since the birth of Josep Anselm Clavé, the father of the Catalan choral movement.
