Compliance status

This website is still not compliant with Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September (less than 90% of the pages fulfil at least half of the applicable criteria), due to exceptions and a lack of conformity in aspects that are indicated in the block of non-accessible content.

    4. Online map and cartography services, although the essential information is provided digitally in an accessible way, in the case of maps used for navigation purposes.

    5. Third-party content that is not funded or developed by Barcelona City Council.

    6. Reproductions of heritage-collection assets that cannot be made completely accessible due to one of the following reasons:

      1st Incompatibility of the accessibility requirements with the conservation of the asset in question or with the authenticity of the reproduction.

      2nd Unavailability of automated, profitable solutions that make it possible to extract the text of manuscripts or other heritage-collection assets and transform them into content that is compatible with accessibility requirements.

    7. Extranet and intranet content understood as accessible websites only for a restricted group of people and not for the general public, published before 23 September 2019, until these websites are the subject of a major revision.

    8. The content of websites and applications for mobile devices that are classed as archives or archive tools because they only contain content that is not necessary for the performance of active administrative tasks and which have not been updated or edited after 2018.

Barcelona City Council commitment to accessibility
