The following measures have been considered for Barcelona City Council's La Mercè app to make it easier for users to access all the contents and functionalities:

    • There are no elements that flash more than three times per second.

  • Browsers and devices

    The application may not be displayed correctly on all browsers and devices.

  • Text alternatives

    Some images, text images and icons may not contain enough text alternatives. Text alternatives may not match the content.

  • Identification

    The instructions for interacting with the content avoid referring to a particular control by its colour, shape, visual location, size, etc., so that it is identifiable independently of sensory capabilities.

  • Coherent structure

    • It is not possible to ensure the consistency of the application in terms of a coherent structure on all screens (menus, headers, list marking, tables, etc.).

    • It is not possible to ensure that the texts on the packaging and labels correctly describe the contents.

  • Forms

    • There may be forms with incorrectly associated labels, or without accessible labels.

    • Contextual changes may occur in some forms while the data are being used. For example, the opening of new windows or tabs.

    • Autofill tools may not be provided in the input and personal information fields.

    • Some errors may not be detected when filling in the form or may not provide suggestions for correcting them.

  • Orientation

    There could be contrast barriers in the text and interactive elements.

  • Zooming in

    • The content of the application may not look correct when increasing the size of the text to 200%.

    • There could be some text images.

    • If the content is increased to 400%, part of the content may be lost.

  • Language

    The language of the contents of the application may not be specified correctly.

    Navigation using a keyboard may not be completely smooth or may not follow the visual order correctly. The focus may not be visible when passing through some elements or some elements may not go into focus. This could lead to changes in the content generated by a change of focus.

  • Compatibility with support products

    The application may not transfer some of the application's characteristics to the support products correctly, for example, labels for controls, values and elements of the tables, among others.

  • User preferences

    The application may not use the settings defined in the operating system by the user, which are related to colour, contrast, font type, font size and cursor focus.

    The application uses third-party codes that may not comply with accessibility guidelines.
