Accessibility statement of the Llum BCN iOS application for the iOS operating system

Accessible content

The following measures have been considered for Barcelona City Council's Llum BCN iOS app to make it easier for users to access all the contents and functionalities:

  • Browsers and devices

    The application is displayed correctly on different browsers and devices.

    Criteria of the standard UNE EN 301 549:2022: 11.1.3.4 and 11.4.1.1.

  • Text alternatives

    • The images, text images and icons contain many textual alternatives.

    • The textual alternatives correspond to the content, both visibly and programmatically.

    Criteria of the standard UNE EN 301 549:2022: 11.1.1.1 and 11.2.5.3.

  • Coherent structure

    • Consistency of application is ensured. The structure is coherent on all screens (menus, headers, lists, tables, etc.), a gratifying user experience is offered, and it is possible to skip generic contents and locate contents within the application in an agile and accessible way.

    • It is also ensured that the texts on the packaging and labels actually describe the contents.

  • Forms

    • The forms contain correctly associated labels and controls, both visually and in a programmatically accessible way.

    • There are no contextual changes in the form that would distract the user while entering data.

    • Autofill tools are provided in the personal information fields.

    • In the forms, when the user fills in the fields, he/she can correctly detect when errors are generated and suggestions are provided to correct them.

  • Orientation

    The application adapts to changes in the orientation of the device's screen.

  • Purpose of the links

    The purpose of the links or controls is described correctly.

Non-accessible content

The app may have the following barriers:

  • Controls for content in movement

    It may not be possible to navigate through the whole application with just a cursor, and that it is not possible to cancel the action of clicking on an activable element.

  • Colour contrast

    There could be contrast barriers in the text and interactive elements.

    Criteria of the standard UNE EN 301 549:2022: 11.1.4.3 and 11.1.4.11.

  • Zooming in

    • The content of the application may not look correct when increasing the size of the text to 200%.

    • There could be some text images.

    • If the content is increased to 400%, part of the content may be lost.

  • Language

    The language of the contents of the application may not be specified correctly.

  • Keyboard browsing

    Navigation using a keyboard may not be completely smooth or may not follow the visual order correctly. The focus may not be visible when passing through some elements or some elements may not go into focus. This could lead to changes in the content generated by a change of focus.

  • Compatibility with support products

    The application may not transfer some of the application's characteristics to the support products correctly, for example, labels for controls, values and elements of the tables, among others.

  • User preferences

    The application may not use the settings defined in the operating system by the user, which are related to colour, contrast, font type, font size and cursor focus.

    The application uses third-party codes that may not comply with accessibility guidelines.
