New creation capsule at Cru de La Caldera. The capsules are opportunities to meet La Caldera’s resident creators, where they can share, in a comfortable, relaxed way, their artistic practices, the current state of their projects, and the themes and issues that nurture and are featured in their work. The last capsule in 2022 will take place on 16 December.

Sergi Fäustino says this about his project Una certa esplendor o Faustino’s all star: ‘There are five people who are more or less the same age as me. There are five people who have placed their body at the centre of their lives. There are five people who have spent many years dedicated to creation. There are five people who I greatly admire, both artistically and personally, who have likely found themselves in similar situations to those that I myself have experienced, either related to creation or to the various stages of life that we have gone through. We all know that one thing is closely linked to the other.’

SERGI FÄUSTINO has been one of the essential creators on the national contemporary scene since the opening of ‘Nutritivo’ in 2002. His research into the body as a continent and reflection of personal history has run constantly through his work over the last 12 years, with a depth, commitment and coherence that are difficult to find on today’s landscape.
