In the framework of the collaboration between the Museu de la Música and La Virreina Image Center around the exhibition Stripsody, its curator Arnau Horta will offer a guided tour for family audiences and for participants in the three collective creation workshops Stripsoding devised by Cristina Cubells and Àlex Tentor that will take place at the Museum on September 20, 24 and 27, the results of which will be on view as a sound installation from September 20 to 28 at the Museum.

Built entirely from onomatopoeias inspired by the language of comics, the work Stripsody (1966) by Cathy Berberian explores in a radical way the voice as an expressive vehicle. It articulates sounds, pantomimic gestures, musical textures and an overflowing theatricality that incorporates the visual and objectual universe of the genre.
