This book is a collection of the memories of ex-pupils, a homage to the school system that was established up during the Republic and the Institució Lliure d'Ensenyament (Free Education Institution). It is also pays homage to the group of teachers who were responsible for implementing the system, through the Barcelona School Trust, at the Hermenegildo Giner de los Ríos School, in the part of Barcelona that is today Nou Barris.
