The operating times of the three metropolitan rail operators will be from 5 am to 2 am every Friday and Saturday, matching the new opening hours for bars and restaurants and other leisure activities, which can stay open until 1 am.

As from Friday 4 June, Barcelona’s metro system and the FGC and TRAM rail services will be operating at night on Fridays and Saturdays, running until 2 am.

These broader operating times are being applied in line with the new closing times for bars and restaurants, which can stay open an hour longer than at present, until 1 am..

The 1 am closing time also applies to cultural and sports activities, shops selling essential products and shops in petrol stations.

The agreement came on Wednesday 2 June, when the meeting by PROCICAT decided on new steps to ease restrictions taking into account the fact that current measures end on 6 June.

In relation to the Nitbus service operated by the AMB and night-time bus services operated by the Catalan government, service levels will remain unchanged at 100%.
