Castell de Montjuïc

Montjuïc Castle is a former military fortress with a long and storied history linked to the city and has entered a new phase after the final closure of the Military Museum. Currently the challenge is to integrate the castle as a cultural facility and strengthen pedagogical aspects such as dimension and leisure activities also its symbolic assets, and accounting for the city. This line is already working on the presentation of architectural and historical evolution of the monumental, through temporary exhibitions on topics such as human rights, freedom or historical memory.
