Disseny Hub Barcelona
DHub, Disseny Hub Barcelona is the reference space for the recognition and projection of the Creative Industries, as well as the headquarters of the Design Museum, with the dual function of conserving, interpreting, and exhibiting its collection and preparing a proposal for exhibitions and activities, for the dissemination of design heritage and culture. A dynamic and transformative facility where promotional actions are deployed in the fields of design, architecture, audiovisual, innovation and technology, hosting and supporting festivals, promoting the city's creative talent, and working with training centres, creators, and business environments on a local and international scale. The building, located in Pl. de les Glories, is the work of MBM Arquitects, the architecture studio integrated by Josep Martorell, Oriol Bohigas, David Mackay, Oriol Capdevila, Francesc Gual and the FAD, BcD and the El Clot Library -Josep Benet, achieving the highest possible sustainability qualification (DGQA and Biosphere).
