Description: The shipping company Transmediterrània was established in 1916 after a merger between the companies belonging to José Juan Dómine, Vicente Ferrer – the owner of the property – Joaquín Tintoré, and Enrique García, with a total of 45 ships. It began operations on January 1, 1917, and its headquarters were located in this building, designed by the architect Juli Maria Fossas Martínez.
