"The Daguerreotype. The Birth of Photography" commemorates the arrival of that technique to the city and municipal collection presents daguerreotypes, and the opportunity occurs, together, to show the tools that were used in its realization through the first chamber guarding the Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona. Laboratory Blanxart daguerrotipia family which id conserved in the AFB is also presented. To complete the presentation of the process invented by Daguerre, was performed with the technique of the daguerreotype a new picture of the current pla Palau, the places where the first image of the city and the Spanish State was taken.
