A journey through the district's history, from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day, from a women's perspective. A group of Sant Andreu women, coordinated by the historian Isabel Segura, contributed, selected, classified and interpreted their own family photo albums and those of friends and acquaintances, neighbours, workmates, association members, etc., as well as rummaging through the municipal photo archives. In the book these photos provide important documentary proof of the great variety of everyday activities in which women played the leading role.
