The exhibition offers a chronology of one of the branches of the ninth art: the newspaper comics that appeared in the United States in the late nineteenth century and, in turn, its influence on the comics that were published here in the thirties. With a didactic look, The comic explosion offers a chronological and technical journey through some of the most relevant authors, works and comic myths of the period from 1895 to 1955.
