Barcelona Night Office recognised in Bilbao as best public initiative
The Barcelona Night Office has received an Aúpa! award in Bilbao as the best public initiative. This is the second award to be given to the Night Office since it was created a year ago. The Barcelona City Council initiative, a pioneering move at a national level, may also gain another award in November.
The Barcelona Night Office has received an Aúpa! award in Bilbao as the best public initiative. The awards were given yesterday, 29 October, as part of the BIME international music festival, which also includes categories such as best private initiative, best live music space, best trajectory or artist, as well as other accolades of a social nature.
Attending the gala actually entails a donation to social organisations, on this occasion for the Fundació Sifu, a non-profit organisation working to promote the social and labour integration of people with disabilities.
Other awards for the Night Office
This is the second award to be given to the Night Office since it was created a year ago, after it received the Recicla la Noche award in Valencia in June, given by the National Federation of Leisure and Entertainment Companies.
The initiative by Barcelona City Council, a pioneering move on a national level, is also in the running for one of the Golden Moon Awards 2025, given by the Nightlife Association in November.
