Traffic changes for the Sants Festa Major 2025
All roads that are part of the Sants Festa Major event area will be closed to motor vehicles during the celebrations. Streets will be closed progressively from Tuesday 19 August. The best way to reach the festival is by public transport or other sustainable means.
This year, vehicles will be allowed to pass through the following decorated street intersections during daytime hours only: Vallespir with Violant d’Hongria Reina d’Aragó and Badalona; Valladolid with Santa Caterina; and Guadiana with Sant Crist.
Pedestrian zone
From 23 to 31 August, a pedestrian zone will be in place within the area bounded by Carrer de Joan Güell, Avinguda de Madrid, Carrer de Berlín and Carrer de Numància, and Passeig de Sant Antoni (mountain side). At night, vehicle access will be prohibited within the zone from 9:00 pm to 4:00 am.
Changes to traffic direction
From 9:00 am on Tuesday, 19 August, until 6:00 pm on Sunday, 31 August:
- Reversed direction: Traffic will be reversed on Carrer de la Ferreria (between Almeria and Guadiana) and Carrer de Juan Bravo (between Vilassar and Almeria).
- Two-way traffic: The section of Carrer de Santa Cecília between Santa Caterina and Alcolea will operate in both directions.
Parking restrictions
Parking is prohibited for all vehicles, including motorcycles on pavements, as follows:
From 19 August (6:00 am) to 31 August (6:00 pm):
- Alcolea (Besòs side), from Valladolid to Passeig de Sant Antoni
- Alcolea (Llobregat side), from Melcior de Palau to Miquel Àngel
- Santa Cecília (mountain side), from Santa Caterina to Alcolea
- Noguera Pallaresa (mountain side), from Rossend Arús to Almeria (Pl. Farga section)
- Valladolid (both sides), from Vallespir to Alcolea
- Vallespir (both sides), from Pl. Centre to Melcior de Palau
- Vallespir (both sides), from Béthencourt to Passeig de Sant Antoni
- Galileu (Llobregat side), from Rajolers to Melcior de Palau
From 21 August (6:00 am) to 31 August (6:00 pm):
- Comtes de Bell-lloc (both sides), between Viriat and Puiggarí
From 23 August (6:00 am) to 29 August (3:00 am):
- Violant d’Hongria Reina d’Aragó (mountain side), from Alcolea to Santa Caterina
From 24 August (6:00 am) to 25 August (2:00 am):
- Muntadas (sea side), between numbers 26 and 20
