The Night Council
The Barcelona Night Council is a space for cross-sector dialogue and coordination, created to share and co-produce proposals related to the city's nightlife from a preventive perspective.
It is a new space for citizen participation, aimed at promoting dialogue and interaction among all stakeholders involved in Barcelona's nightlife.
Its organisational structure is as follows:
Plenary
This is the Council's main representative body, bringing together municipal authorities, public order and safety representatives, as well as representatives of public and social organisations, the economic, business, and tourism sectors, civil society, and political parties. The Plenary meets at least once a year.
Standing Committee
The executive body aimed at providing support and advice, ensuring a more efficient and effective operation of the Council, with the following functions, composition, and operating procedures.
Working groups
These are made up of sector-specific entities from the Council Plenary and municipal technicians specialising in the relevant thematic areas.
