The Escolab 2024-25 program offers activities designed to connect students directly with scientific professionals.
The Escolab program kicks off a new academic year with over a hundred activities designed for secondary school, high school, and vocational training students. These activities will allow students to interact with scientific professionals, discover how they work, and gain first-hand knowledge of their research activities.
For this new Escolab program year, 32 research centers have prepared over a hundred different activities, which will be conducted in a total of 274 sessions, as some activities will be repeated. So far, 172 educational institutions have applied to participate in the program. In total, nearly 8,000 students will have the opportunity to benefit from these activities.
Despite high demand, some activities still have available spots. Among the options are the workshop “The Physics of the Universe for Everyone,” the virtual escape room “Discover the Matheroes: The Supermaterials of the Future!” and a virtual visit to the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), as well as talks on “The New Pandemic: Mental Health Challenges in Youth” and “Build Your Idea in 3D,” among others.
To apply, registration is required on the platform. Spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
