Barcelona City Council has decided to cancel this year’s edition of the firefighter’s fun run, the Cursa de Bombers, given the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The event will now be adjourned until Sunday 24 October 2021 to help guarantee the health of all runners and organisational staff in this celebration of running.

A form will be provided for people who registered to take part so that they can manage their registration. The three options offered are:

• To maintain their registration for 2021.
• To request a refund for 70% of the registration fee. The other 30% will be a donation to help cover the organisers’ costs to date.
• To request a full refund.

The period for managing registrations will be open until Tuesday 15 December 2020. Over the next few days, the organisers will contact all participants to inform them of their options and help them deal with their bib numbers.
