The Espai Bombers training, dissemination and exhibition centre is adding to its usual range of activities with a family workshop and open day for La Mercè.
The Barcelona Fire Service training, dissemination and exhibition centre for safety and prevention is offering:
Tuesday, 23 September
- Open day, from 10 am to 2 pm
- Free family workshop, at 11.30 am
Wednesday, 24 September
- Open day, from 11 am to 3 pm
To take part in the workshop or visit during the open day, booking is required in advance by sending an email to espaibombers@bcn.cat.
Besides the special programme, the Espai Bombers offers a guided tour on the first Saturday of each month, from 12 noon to 1 pm, and family activities every Sunday, from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, plus a permanent exhibition to discover the profession of the firefighter first hand, from the earliest days to the present.
