Applications may be submitted until 17 June for a residency at La Central del Circ. This round of grants offers stays in the centre for various categories or creative transits. Each category has been conceived as a creative stage that looks to respond to the individual needs of each project according to its current state of development.

Hence the residencies "Transit at Source: Dynamic Residencies" are aimed at artists doing research or creating with no intention of producing a show. "Transit in Study" ("Trànsit en estudi") grants are those relevant for the cases of artists and companies in the initial creative stage of a piece lasting no more than 20 minutes. In contrast, the "Transit in Production" ("Trànsit en fabricació") grants would be allocated to creative projects lasting longer than 20 minutes. Lastly, the "Preview Residency" (“Residència de preestrena”) is aimed at a project in the last phase of the creative process which requires a final stimulus  before debuting before a preview audience at La Central del Circ.

Each category of residence will take place between July 2018 and July 2019 with an obligation to start this year. Candidate submissions are made online at the company website. There will also be an information session about this call for applications next Thursday 24 May at 5 pm at La Central del Circ.
