The Municipal Institute of Information Technology provides Barcelona City Council with technological services. More specifically, it performs the following tasks:
- It takes part in the design and implementation of Barcelona City Council’s ICT strategy.
- It offers advice and support in all the City Councils projects or programmes requiring an information and telecommunication systems strategy.
- It promotes and implements technological projects for Barcelona City Council
