Trinh T. Minh-ha's first film and a foundational work of anthropological critique of the subject of filmic enunciation. This screening is part of the retrospective dedicated to the feminist and decolonial scholar, accompanying the exhibition Seen Yet Unseen.

Women are the center, but not the object, of Trinh T. Minh-ha's influential debut feature, a complex visual study of women in rural Senegal. Through a collaborative interaction between the film and the viewer, Reassemblage reflects on documentary cinema and the ethnographic representation of cultures.
