A sarcastic, visual and textual analysis of urban experiences based on the case of intermodal cities from the fruitful perspective offered by Canary Island cultures.

Mariano de Santa Ana (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1964) is an art critic and essayist. He has published the collective books Paisajes del placer, paisajes de la crisis, Paisaje y esfera pública, Memorias y olvidos del archivo and Pop sin brillo. He contributes to El País and has written on art in magazines such as Exit Express, Quimera and Concreta.
