The Municipal Institute of Markets of Barcelona (IMMB) promotes educational projects aimed at primary and secondary students in order to boost the importance of maintaining a balanced diet based on fresh, healthy, seasonal and local foods.

In this way, the IMMB proposes different initiatives to schools, such as visits to markets, learning and service projects - "Market by the main door" and "Eat the world" - or the educational programme "Let’s eat healthily, let’s eat from the market”.
