We explain with images the value of city-city cooperation through the cooperative experience with Ammán, taking advantage of a visit of studies driven by German Cooperation.

The cities of Amman and Barcelona have some similar traits, such as their density, that make cooperation between their respective municipalities becomes very profitable for the design and implementation of public policies always in order to improve the living conditions of its inhabitants. Both cities have a long history of joint work and cooperation between technical teams.

Through the ILCA (improving the living conditions in disadvantaged areas in Amman) project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ, a technical team from the municipality of Amman travelled to Barcelona to exchange on issues of public space, green infrastructure and new urban greening experiences.
