Barcelona’s by-law on coexistence is designed to preserve public space as a place for respect towards others, where everybody can circulate freely and engage in recreational or leisure activity with complete respect for the rights of others and the plurality of lifestyles and activity in the city.

These participatory processes consisted of a series of sessions over a certain period of time, promoting debate and comparing arguments and points of view between members of the public and municipal chiefs.

The proposals put forward during the process will be technically assessed and each one will get a response, with an explanation of the assessment made.

Participating in the session will be Albert Batlle, Deputy Mayor for the Area of Prevention, Safety, Coexistence and Internal Affairs, with the results to be presented by Montse Surroca, Commissioner for Coexistence.

The session is being held in the Saló de Cròniques at the City Hall (entrance in C/ Font de Sant Miquel) on Tuesday, 9 July, at 6.30 pm. Anybody wishing to attend should register here.
