The project consists of the installation of Mobileye's 'Flota Segura 3000' device, of aftermarket artificial vision (ADAS systems), in private fleets of vehicles that circulate regularly around the city.
These systems can predict 80% of accidents caused by human error and alert the driver of potentially dangerous situations.
Targets
Collect information to identify risk points in the city and thus be able to improve road infrastructure and safety
Collect data to advance autonomous vehicle research and development
Pilot Tests:
More than 460 vehicles from 11 goods delivery companies that circulate in the city of Barcelona are currently taking part.
In the second half of 2022, 650 cleaning vehicles and 220 TMB buses will join.
