This section brings together all the documents produced or received in the exercise of powers assigned to Barcelona City Council with regard to the environment.

So it includes records produced around or by the implementation of policies geared towards preserving, restoring and improving the urban and natural environment, the quality of the urban space, or minimising, reusing, collecting separately, recycling and treating municipal waste, as well as efficient, effective energy use and savings, the efficient management of natural resources and protection of animals.
