The online catalogue includes part of the records that make up the Contemporary Municipal Archives holdings. At present, the Archives manages more than 17 kilometres of records from 1820 to 2008.
Part of those included in the online catalogue are partially or totally digitised, and the rest are described with no images.
However, before searching the online catalogue, we recommend you consult the essential information on the document series, which you will find in the Barcelona City Council Fonds, the Institutional Fonds, and collections to get the basic data on all the existing records. You also have The Civil Registry guide in pdf format for specific quèries.
