For consulting medieval, modern, privates and bibliographic documents, as well as newspapers and magazines, cartographic and iconographic documents.

Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Rules for accessing, consulting and copying documents

Oral History Consultation Room

For consulting sound documents that belong to the oral collections.

Monday to Friday, 9.30 am - 2 pm (by e-mail prior appointment)

Exhibition room

Periodically, we organise exhibitions in the Casa de l’Ardiaca lobby so people can see the rich and varied documentary, bibliographic and press material we keep, as well as learn about different aspects of Barcelona’s history.

Monday to Friday, 9 am to 7.30 pm

Saturdays, 10 am - 7.30.pm.
