Improvement works in the Laribal Gardens
As part of the general repair and restoration of the Laribal Gardens that is being carried out until next summer as part of the Pla Endreça, the lift is being renovated this December.
From 9 December until approximately the beginning of January, the lift that connects the two levels of the Laribal Gardens will be out of service due to the improvement works that need to be carried out there.
Since last month and until August 2026, comprehensive repair and restoration works are being carried out in the Laribal Gardens within the framework of the Pla Endreça: repair of walls with improved stabilisation of the ground, adaptation of the gravel paths, repair and restoration of heritage elements, landscaping of flower beds and improvements to the irrigation network. The actions have been divided into seven different areas so as not to completely close access to the park at any time.
This action is part of the Pla Endreça Comprehensive Maintenance Plan (PMI) which is being implemented throughout Poble-sec and Montjuïc this year, with 80 actions totalling around 16.5 million euros in investment.
