This is the work of reference about the so-called secret society and its presence in Barcelona. The book follows a historical view from the construction of the Cathedral by the freemason masters to the working lodges nowadays, getting to know some illustrious freemasons from our country such as President Companys, Mayor Aiguader, the famous harpist Clotilde Cerdà — the daughter of the town planner —, General Prim or the philanthropist Rossend Arús, founder of the extraordinary library that escaped Francoist confiscation order miraculously.
