This book is about the newly restored Sant Pau complex. The former hospital was the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, and is a much admired example of Modernist architecture. The complex, built as a “city within a city” was the original home of the first Hospital de la Santa Creu and Sant Pau from 1916 to 2009. Considered to be the largest Modernist complex in Europe, nowadays it is a cultural heritage replete with anecdotes, details and stories that we invite you to discover in this unique and visually stunning book.
