Disueño was a Catalan phenomenon of the late seventies that encouraged critical reflection among members of the new generation of designers, who, from the ADI-FAD association, yearned to open a new way for design, beyond official criteria of the Delta Awards granted by the association. Disueño was a wink, an original and fun name, and a poetic way to express a concept beyond orthodox, functional and academic design.
